Privacy
In short: no cookies for visitors, no trackers, no ads, no external fonts or scripts. We only store what the leaderboard needs.
This is a translation for convenience. The German version is legally binding.

2. Visiting the website (server log files)
When you visit this site, our web server automatically processes technical data: IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser type and operating system. This is required to deliver the site and keep the server secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after a short time. We do not draw conclusions about individual people.
3. Cookies, fonts and external content
We set no cookies for visitors and use no tracking or analytics services. Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google or other providers. Only the operator, when logging in to the admin area, receives a technically necessary session cookie that expires when the browser is closed.
4. Player statistics from the SuperHero game server
Our Counter-Strike 2 server “SuperHero” sends this website the player name (nickname), possibly the SteamID, experience points (XP), level, chosen heroes and the time of last activity. This data is shown publicly in leaderboards, player profiles, duels, the timeline and signature banners. In addition, we store each player's XP once a day to show history, badges and “top climbers”; this history is deleted after 120 days at the latest. Events such as level-ups are logged in the timeline with player name and time (at most the last 500 events). The “When is it busiest?” statistic only contains the number of players, no names.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is running a gaming community with leaderboards. You can object at any time: a short email is enough and we will hide your profile. Hidden players no longer appear in any list, timeline, banner or Discord message.
5. Steam profile pictures
If the game server sends SteamIDs, we load the public Steam profile picture via the Steam Web API (Valve Corporation, 10400 NE 4th St, Bellevue, WA 98004, USA) and cache it on our server (24 hours at most). The image is delivered by our server; your browser does not connect to Steam.
6. Messages in our Discord
New players, level-ups, changes at the top and online records may be posted automatically with the player name to our Discord channel (Discord Inc., 444 De Haro Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Hidden profiles are never posted. A Discord invite link on this site is a normal link – data is only transferred when you click it.
7. Open API
The public leaderboard data mentioned above is also available in machine-readable form at /api. Hidden players are not included there either.
8. Visitor counter
Our visitor counter works without cookies. To count each visitor only once per day, we build a shortened hash from your IP address and browser identifier together with a random key that is newly generated every day. The IP address itself is not stored. Key and hashes are discarded the next day; afterwards only the totals (views and visitors per day) remain. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is simple reach measurement without third parties.
9. Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, we store your request type, the player name you entered, your message and – if provided – your email address in order to handle the request and reply to you. To protect against spam we also store a salted hash of your IP address (not the IP itself) to allow at most three messages per hour. The request is also forwarded to us by email. Completed requests are deleted automatically after 30 days. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by email, and – for hiding requests – handling your objection (Art. 21 GDPR).
10. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Just contact us by email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony (LfD Niedersachsen).
